6 Ways Every Nigerian Can Recognize A Fake Phone (Photos)

When buying a phone, it is quite easy to buy a fake one, especially when you do not know how to spot a fake phone. Below are some ways to check if the phone is original:

1. Packaging
The packaging of a phone can be a give away
The packaging of a phone can be a giveaway. It is important to look at the box of the phone and pay extra attention to the condition. If it appears to be dented or damaged, you should request for another. When buying the product, especially online, check the packaging for any signs of neglect, such as loose or tampered packaging. An authentic product will arrive at you with clean, and brand new.

 2. Unboxing
Before you open the box also look at the boxing properly
Before you open the box also look at the boxing properly It is important that you carefully check the box for any information that is printed in a language that is foreign to the country from which you made the purchase. If the language is different, request another.

 3. Language
What language the manual is in is also important
What language the manual is in is also important The manual, and the accompanying directions for use should be in the same language as the country of purchase. If the language is a foreign one, there is a very high chance that your product is not legitimate.

4. Appearance
Look at the appearance of the product and its parts
Look at the look of the product and its parts Top brand names, make sure that their products are in pristine condition. So look at the appearance of what you are buying, pay attention to detail, and if your product seems like it is not brand new, and has been used, it most probably has been tampered with.

5. Fonts

The type of font used is also another checkpoint for the products. It is important that you know the font, the brand uses. You can check it out on Google and compare to search for any differences between the two.

6. Cords

The style of cords and other accessories should be noted. Therefore, if the company has not made any style change announcements than your product should be the same size and color as that of the brand’s model. Any differences can imply that your product is not authentic.

Checkout The 12 Nigerian Artistes Olamide Helped Become Famous

An adage says to whom much is given, much is expected.
From 2010 when he released his debut single “Eni Duro” till this moment, Olamide Baddo has been enjoying undying love from the street. Apparently, it is safe to say that the street made him the Baddo that he is today.
In an attempt to give back to the street, he has helped whole lots of raw talents on the street to get much-needed recognition in the music industry.
Here is the list of artists Olamide has helped their career;
1. Pepenazi
After few weeks of dropping a rather unpopular single titled “LOW,” Olamide lighted up his career by helping him cook up a street certified anthem “ILLEGAL” which is the reason many people can relate to the brand Pepenazi up till today.
2. Lil Kesh
He was just a street boy doing freestyles around secondary schools in Lagos before he got an encounter with Baddo with the help of his friend Viktoh. Olamide signed him up to YBNL, and now Lilkesh has grown so big enough to float his own record label “YAGI” after the expiration of a favorable record deal with YBNL.
3. CDQ
He got his big break into the music industry after a jamming collaboration with Olamide Baddo on the song “Woss wobi”. The song successfully went viral because of the presence of Baddo on it which makes it easy for fans to fall in love with the unique style of “CDQ Yeeye.”
4. Adekunle Gold
The year 2015 was the year Adekunle Gold started living the life of a star after Olamide Baddo got him signed up to YBNL as the only singer on the label. Today, the Sade crooner can only thank God and Olamide for what he has achieved so far in the industry.
5. Ycee
The Tinny Entertainment act, YCee came into limelight by dropping a enormous hit track titled “Jagaban.” Despite this hit single, YCee was still finding it hard to sustain his newly found street love. Four months later when he remixed the song with Baddo, it becomes crystal clear to everyone that YCEE has come to stay.
6. DJ Enimoney
In case you don’t know, Eniola Olamilekan Adedeji widely known as DJ Enimoney is the younger brother of the YBNL Boss Olamide Baddo. As the number one YBNL Disc Jokey, the massive influence of his Big Brother, Olamide on his career cannot be under-estimated
7. Skuki
Peeshaun and Vavavoom popularly known as Skuki are two brothers joined together by blood and music. Their relationship with Baddo on tracks like Peteru, Over the mountain in 2014 and 2015 respectively has left a huge imprint on their music career.
8. Viktoh
Despite being widely criticized as Olamide’s worst signing, Viktoh has enjoyed much recognition in the music industry as a YBNL act before the expiration of his contract with the label.
9. Chinko Ekun
Chinko Ekun is one of the almost dying talents revived by Olamide. The hardcore Yoruba rapper caught the interest of Baddo who wasted no time in signing him on to YBNL. He just got a record deal with a Dubai-based record label, Dek-Niyor Entertainment. Looking back at the start of Chinko’s career, it is safe to conclude that Olamide has indeed given him the voice of the street that he is enjoying today.
10. Davolee
This guy is another young talented rapper who just got a massive break into the music industry courtesy Olamide Baddo. Olamide has shown him the road to fame in just a few weeks of getting signed on to YBNL.
Aside from dropping his debut single, festival bar, Davolee also featured in Pepper Dem Gang, a track off Olamide’s “The Glory album.” His appearance on the Album is a height many young artists would love to attain in their career.
11. Phyno
Truth be told, Olamide played a huge role in Phyno’s success story in the music industry. As a talented Yoruba indigenous rapper, Olamide successfully used his already established brand to introduce Phyno as another talented Igbo native rapper.
Tracks like Ghost Mode, Dope money and many other hit collabos that Phyno had with Olamide at the early stage of his career made him a Big Star that he is today.
12. Temmie Owvasa
Temmie was a rather unknown singer uploading freestyles on Instagram before she caught the attention of the YBNL boss. The wind of fame blew her into limelight the moment she was introduced as YBNL princess by Olamide in April 2016.
Elevating others while you’re elevating yourself is, of course, the strategy Olamide is using to build an Empire for himself in Nigerian Music Industry.
Do you think other artists are missing on the list?
We will be glad to have your comments.

See The 7 Musicians Davido Helped Become Rich and Famous

Davido might not be a legend yet in Nigerian music, but his achievement can’t be overstated.
The 24-year-old in a very short time in the music business has been able to put many Nigerian music stars on the map.
Most of those he put on the map have gone on to be megastars of their own, and some of them are even his rivals today. Let’s take a look at the 7 music stars Davido brought to the limelight!
1. Runtown
Runtown gathered airplay when he released Party Like 1980, but his big break didn’t come until he got a verse from Davido.
The HKN chief laced Runtown’s biggest hit, Gallardo with one of his best verses and the Eric Many artistes has gone on to become a star of his own.
2. Lil Kesh
Olamide signed Lil Kesh, but the man that put him on our playlist is Davido.
Davido remixed Shoki at his peak, and his verse is the best on the song. Davido didn’t stop there!
He rooted for Lil Kesh at several award shows, gives him shout out on his social media pages and more.
3. Tekno
Before Tekno got signed to Triple MG, before Duro, before Wash there was Holiday which featured Davido.
Tekno managed to get the attention of people like me with Holiday and made it to big radio stations and more.
Davido deserves all the pride he has right now!
4. Burna Boy
Before Burna Boy became a household name, he featured Davido on a song tagged Trumpet.
Trumpet was the most successful song on Burna Boy’s mixtape Burn Identity 2.
Following the success of Trumpet, Burna Boy went on to release Like To Party, and he has been dishing out Hits upon hits ever since.
5. Diamond Platnumz
Tanzanian music powerhouse Diamond Platnumz was popular in his home country but not in Africa. His superstar status came after Davido remixed his hit single Number One.
Diamond got so big he became Davido’s rival.
The relationship of the two right now is unknown, but they had a major beef in 2015
6. MC Galaxy
Don’t lie, do you know MC Galaxy before Nek Unek? The answer is probably NO.
Davido managed to get MC Galaxy his first career hit with Nek Unek and ever since their relationship has been a moody type.
Davido reportedly beat up MC Galaxy at a studio last year. May your role models become your rivals. Amen?
7. Humblesmith
Humblesmith is the latest entry to the list.
Humblesmith was relatively unknown to most until he got the blessing of DMW’s boss, Davido.
Davido got downloads and streams for Humblesmith by addressing his baby mama drama on Osinachi remix. Something he could have done on his own song.
Aftermath of Osinachi Remix featuring Davido, Humblesmith has since proved to us that he’s here to say by giving us hits upon hits.
All hail King Davido!

4 Ways To Grow Your Small Business Fast

Starting and running a business is one thing most people dream of, and there is nothing an entrepreneur desires more than seeing his business grow, flourish and makes more profit than estimated.
However, it is quite unfortunate that a lot of people put so much time and money into starting something on their own, only to see it fail within a year. This mostly stems up from mismanagement or taking some essential parts of growing business for granted. Today, we bring you 4 important sectors of running a business you should never take for granted if you want your business to stay profitable and grow fast:

1. Stay focused
How to grow your business
Keep your eyes on your goals and work towards them When you set up a business you need to explicitly set and state your goals for that establishment and work towards it. Before you take any step, you have to think about if it is in line with your company’s goals and whether it will bring you closer to your target. Practices that go against what your business represents or decisions that will do more harm than good to the success of operations should be avoided. Keep your eyes on your goals and work towards them.

2. Quality products/services

Give your customers the best Work on the quality of your goods and services; keep it safe enough to get people coming back for more because customers always notice these things. The quality of your products and services will speak for you even when you are not there, people will want to tell their friends how good it is. However, remember that people will also talk about how bad your product is if you take quality for granted, so never stop improving and paying attention to quality control.

3. Good customer service
How to grow your business fast
Treat your customers like they are special The advantages of excellent customer service can never be over-emphasized; when customers feel that you actually care about them, they are more likely to become regular customers and even refer their friends to you. Customer service is what will make the difference in how your customers see your business, and it goes hand in hand with quality products. Treat your customers like they are special, make them feel like they matter (because in all honesty, they do matter for the success of your business), and you can be assured that you will become their go-to spot for whatever product or service you offer.

4. Effective marketing

Top 10 Highest Paid Footballers - 2017

UPDATE: There's a new update for this list here

Graziano Pelle's move from the Premier League to China's Super League is set to net the striker an absolute fortune.

The 30-year-old will rake in a whopping £260,000-a-week at Chinese outfit Shandong Luneng, with the weekly wage packet rocketing the Italy international into the top 10 best paid footballers in the world.

So who does Pelle join as one of the world's highest-paid footballing stars? Here's the official top 10.

10. Thiago Silva - Paris-Saint Germain: £9.5m-a-Year

Chelsea FC v Paris Saint-Germain - UEFA Champions League
The first of three Brazilian internationals to make the list, PSG captain Thiago Silva keeps his place in the top 10 at the expense of Manchester United's Wayne Rooney.

The centre-half, who has resided in France for four seasons, has won 12 trophies with the Ligue 1 champions during his time in Paris.

The 31-year-old also happens to rake in a handsome sum, with his weekly wage currently standing at £182,000.

9. Jackson Martinez - Guangzhou: £10m-a-Year

FBL-ASIA-CHN
Former Atletico Madrid attacker Jackson Martinez rebuffed advances from Chelsea and Liverpool to join Guangzhou Evergrande for £36m in February 2016.

And while the Colombian striker may not be playing on one of the world's biggest footballing stages, his £192,000-a-week contract probably keeps him warm enough at night.

Martinez has bagged three goals and two assists in 10 games so far for Guangzhou.

8. Ezequiel Lavezzi - Hebai China Fortune: £10.5m a-Year

FBL-COPAM2016-USA-ARG
Like Martinez, Argentina forward Ezequiel Lavezzi could have opted to depart former club PSG for England's shores and join a Premier League side.

Instead, the allure of China's preposterous weekly wages was too good an opportunity to turn down, and the 31-year-old headed to the Far East for a mere £4.7m transfer fee.

Lavezzi is, however, yet to find the net for his new club, despite earning £200,000-a-week from Hebai.

7. Thomas Muller - Bayern Munich: £11.5m a-Year

Bayern Muenchen v Borussia Dortmund - DFB Cup Final 2016
The only Bundesliga star to make this list, Thomas Muller is one of two players here who has only turned out for one club throughout his career.

The 26-year-old forward is contracted to Bayern until the summer of 2021, and has resisted the urge to depart the club where he has amassed 14 trophies.

It's hard to see why when he earns over £220,000-a-week with them.

6. Graziano Pelle - Shandong Luneng: £12.5m-a-Year

Italy v Spain - Round of 16: UEFA Euro 2016
Graziano Pelle's £13m move from Southampton to Shandong may seem low in terms of transfer fee, but the Italian won't care a jot thanks to his ridiculous wage packet.

The 31-year-old striker, who recently featured at Euro 2016 with his national side, will command £260,000-a-week.

If that wasn't mindboggling enough, Pelle is now the best paid Italian footballer of all time. Crazy, eh?

5. Zlatan Ibrahimovic - Manchester United: £13m-a-Year

FBL-FRA-CUP-MARSEILLE-PSG
The second star to have left PSG in recent months, Zlatan Ibrahimovic's arrival at Manchester United certainly set tongues wagging among the Old Trafford faithful.

And despite entering the twilight of his career (he is 34-years-old, after all), the former Sweden international can still command a decent wedge of cash.

The self-confessed 'living legend' will pocket £250,000-a-week. Not bad for someone in the final throes of their playing career.

4. Neymar - Barcelona: £15m-a-Year

Barcelona v Sevilla - Copa del Rey Final
Barcelona's Neymar has been courted by a host of the world's biggest clubs during the 2016 summer transfer window.

And whilst he may have a modest contract release clause of £85m, the Brazil superstar's wages may prove to be the biggest sticking point for any would-be admirer.

The 24-year-old earns just shy of £290,000-a-week as part of Barca's talented trio of strikers.

He probably deserves it for his club form alone, though.

3. Hulk - Shanghai SIPG: £16.5m-a-Year

FBL-CHN-HULK
Hulk was one of the first big names to join the Chinese footballing revolution, departing Zenit St Petersburg for a colossal £47m on July 1.

If that didn't prove that money was no object for Shanghai - currently managed by Sven Goran Eriksson - then Hulk's salary would certainly do that.

The 29-year-old striker earns a staggering £317,000-a-week in China's most populous city.

I don't know about you, but he could retire on that sum after one season!

2. Lionel Messi - Barcelona: £17m-a-Year

FC Barcelona v Sporting Gijon - La Liga
Perhaps surprisingly, Barcelona's Lionel Messi doesn't top the list of the highest paid footballers in the world.

The diminutive world-famous star has won 29 trophies during his club career, is Barcelona's all-time record goalscorer and, like Muller, has only played for one club.

The 29-year-old is rewarded for his talents and effort with a wage of £330,000-a-week, which is perhaps just recompense for what he's achieved with the La Liga giants.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo - Real Madrid: £18m-a-Year

Portugal v France - Final: UEFA Euro 2016
If it wasn't Messi topping this list, it had to be football's other world-famous star who did.

Cristiano Ronaldo's astronomical £345,000-a-week wage packet sees him come out on top as the highest-paid footballer in the world.

Portugal's captain even went one better than Messi by winning a title on the international stage last year - lifting the Euro 2016 trophy after his national side's 1-0 triumph over France.

The 31-year-old striker just needs a World Cup to complete the set, and he can bow out of the game gracefully. Well, maybe not so gracefully..
