Buhari Appoints Mrs Amina Bala Zakari As The Acting Chairman Of INEC

Mrs Amina Bala Zakari has appointed been President Muhammadu Buhari as INEC's Acting Chairman following the conclusion of the term of Office of Prof. Attahiru Jega.

This new development was disclosed in a statement signed by Haruna Imrana, Director of Communications for the Head of Civil Service of the Federation.The appointment , according to the statement , is with effect from today June 30, 2015 until the appointment of a substantive Chairman.
