Buhari Receives Transition Report

President Buhari has received the Ahmed Joda transition committee report on the handover notes from the Goodluck Jonathan administration.

Chairman of the 18-man APC transition committee, Mallam Ahmed Joda, who submitted the report, told State House correspondents that the delay in the submission of the committee report was because they took time to sort out the over 1,800 page handover notes from former president, Goodluck Jonathan and make sense of them in order to come up with the necessary recommendations.

On whether the report was responsible for the delay in political appointments by the Buhari administration, Mallam Joda called on Nigerians to exercise patience with the President while he goes through recommendations of the report before political appointments.
