Missing Lion Finally Spotted

Missing lion finally spotted

A week after a lion went missing from a game park in Beaufort West trackers say they have finally spotted the animal.
The three-year-old lion is believed to have escaped the Karoo National Park through a hole in the fence.
It's taken a helicopter, five vehicles and 20 people to track down the animal.
SANParks’ Fayrouch Ludick said although the animal was tracked to a river bed it has not yet been seized.
The area is filled with trees and bush which have made it difficult for the search team to capture the lion.
Last week, farmworkers in Beaufort West were urged to stay at home because the animal was still on the loose.
