‘Although the plaque is given backstage, it does not mean that nominees who were present did not know what they were about. ‘There’s issues everywhere and every day and no awards organiser can get everything they plan to be a hundred percent. So you check yourself and see if you want to come or not. You the nominee has the best reasons as to whether you will attend or back off,’ said. Speaking further, he added: ‘But I’m here and I have my reasons to back my decision to be here and I trust he also has good reason to back the decision not be here. Aside that, no award can be hundred percent and that also doesn’t mean we the nominees that came don’t know what we are about.’
