Couple Want Their Baby Born Among Dolphins

Meet a Hawaiin couple who wants to have a ‘dolphin-assisted’ birth in the ocean.
Dorina Rosin and her husband Maika Suneagle are so deeply in love with nature and particulary with the ocean they want their baby born amongst dolphins.
They parents-to-be are sure that dolphin song has strong healing effects and after such birth their baby will be able to speak the dolphin language.

But that is not even the end of the story, as they want to have a dolphin for a midwife!

The future mum Dorina said: “In 2011 and 2014 I had the privilege to learn from and with wild and free dolphins and Humpback whales in Hawaii who transformed and healed me in a very profound way. I felt deeply called to spend two times three months in nature – mostly by myself – and to deeply connect to this magical place of beauty and transformation inside and outside which called me home.

However, experts are not sharing the couple’s enthusiasm, moreover, they say that dolphin-assisted birth is probably the worst idea ever.

Science journalist Christie Wilcox said: “Because of their friendly disposition and common (occurrence) in aquariums, we tend to think of dolphins as trustworthy, loving creatures. But let’s get real for a minute here. No matter how cute they might appear, dolphins are not cuddly companions; they are real, large, ocean predators with a track record for violence — even when it comes to humans.”

But it seems nothing can stop Dorina and her husband from pursuing their dream and maybe in a few months we will see a miracle baby born with the help of a dolphin!
