Zenith bank has taken up the
responsibility of paying Super Eagles gaffer Sunday Oliseh’s salary for
the first twelve months he would be in charge.
According
to africanfootball.com, NFF president Amaju Pinnick revealed the bank
will pay Oliseh’s five million Naira monthly salary (about $25,000).
The bank has also been doing so since Oliseh was appointed in July.
Pinnick said: “Zenith Bank have undertaken to pay Oliseh’s salary for a year. This will take a lot of burden off the federation.
Pinnick also revealed that the bank also sponsored Nigerian referees for a training course in London.
The NFF can now relax knowing fully well that the issue that affected Stephen Keshi who was owed several months salary would be avoided.
